Global Community Extends Condolences With Victims Of Peshawar Blast

The global community has strongly denounced the suicide bombing at a mosque in Peshawar that resulted in the deaths of 92 individuals and left many others injured.

In separate statements, the international community has expressed its support for Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.

The United States condemned the mosque bombing in Peshawar and offered condolences to the families of the victims.

Saudi Arabia strongly condemned the terrorist attack and reinforced its commitment to stand with Pakistan in its fight against all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism.

On the other hand, China, Qatar, Afghanistan, Iran, the United Kingdom, Canada, and other nations also criticized the terrorist attack.

The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, expressed his heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those who were injured. He also emphasized the UN’s solidarity with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism and extremism.

Csaba Korosi, President of the UN General Assembly, expressed his condemnation in a statement, calling the attack on worshipers at the mosque in Peshawar “truly horrid and cowardly.”

The Secretary General of the OIC, Hissein Brahim Taha, condemned the malicious act and assured the organization’s support to Pakistan in its efforts against terrorism.

The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council pledged to support Pakistan in its fight against terrorism and extremism.
