Lufthansa German Airlines' is offering better connection between the Libyan capital, Tripoli, Europe and beyond through new schedules it has just announced for the winter, and that have taken effect on October 28.
The German national carrier will be operating its winter schedule with daily flights, thus making travel to and from Europe more convenient and comfortable for passengers wanting to travel for business or leisure. Flexible departures from Frankfurt to Tripoli give further choices for passengers returning to the Libyan capital, the airline has announced.
It says that depending on final destination in Europe, passengers will find convenient connections from Lufthansa’s Frankfurt hub to board their next flights. Passengers from/to Tripoli for instance, can conveniently arrive/depart in London, Paris, Manchester, Amsterdam, Geneva, Brussels, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stavanger, Aberdeen and even North America where Lufthansa serves over 20 destinations.
Travellers from East Europe going back to Tripoli via Frankfurt also find convenient flight times under the new winter schedule.
Additionally, the new state-of-the-art, four-level Pier A-Plus at Terminal 1 in Frankfurt airport allows passengers to relax in a more comfortable surrounding prior to boarding their flights.
On the product front, Lufthansa is offering its passengers from Tripoli travelling via Frankfurt to Washington DC, New Delhi or Bangalore, the comfort of the new Business Class on board the “Queen of the Skies” - the new Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental.
Antonio Tassone, Lufthansa’s General Manager in Libya said: “Our passengers from Tripoli can definitely look forward to better connectivity with our new winter schedules and great comfort when travelling as Lufthansa’s investments in products and services start to bear fruit.”
He went on to say that his company takes care of its valued passengers from the ground and up in the air as their comfort and convenience are paramount in the airline's minds. “With the non-stop day flights Lufthansa offers between Tripoli and Frankfurt, we assure our passengers that Lufthansa is here seven days a week to fly them to their chosen destinations,” he said.
Booking flights with Lufthansa through the website or travel partners also means that passengers from Tripoli have the flexibility to choose other airlines within the Lufthansa group as well as its Star Alliance partners to plan their itineraries.
Globally, Lufthansa operates flights to over 200 destinations in more than 80 countries.
