Comment: With great expectations I went to Green Square tonight, were , as I was told, would see many shows and activities: 31rd and 1st filled with celebrations! I walked 3 KM as roads were blocked, but that is understandable. To my surprise, the entire Green Square and surroundings were securely blocked for walking people as well! No way to get in! After waiting at one gate for over 1 hour, the crowd was told "no show for you, come back tomorrow". While leaving disapointed, we passed another gate with equally hundreds of people waiting. 'One hour", said the guards there in Arabic, "and the gates will open for public". Good news, right?! Well, no, because after 1.5 Hr waiting again, we were all told again to go home - walking. Too bad that the young police boys were not only very unpolite and abusive, waiving weapen sticks and busy smoking, but also poorly instructed about the program, as we were all. Seems the program is a secret for the common people...Tomorrow hopefully better. Show starts at 6 PM they told us quietly... I hope its true, as I really like to experience this Grand Anniversary! Thank you!

Comment: The following press statement from agpcuk now running in the following UK Newspapers
It is important to all mankind to have forgiveness and to be progressive planners and thinkers, so we do not harbor grudges that can only hinder progressive relationships between people in general or relationships between other counties leaders.
Yes, we all know that the need to gain access to the ‘Libyan Oil Fields’ must have been a controlling factor. As to the Americans and others complaining about the release of Megrahi on a par with their acts to gain access to the Iraq Oil Fields is ‘Pot Kettle Black’ is it not? Many thousands of innocent people killed for access to Oil.
Governments of all countries need to learn how to work together for the betterment of all.
As to the celebrations of leader Colonel Gaddafi's 40 years in power, at least he is a man amongst men and a true leader of men. Whilst we may not approve of his methods he has control, whereas here in the UK and in the US these Governments and leaders have lost control to street gangs and mobsters.
